British Long Distance Swimming Association.- BLDSA and it's Affiliated
Clubs hold a number of Long Distance Swimming Championships throughout
the UK, from May to September each year
Channel Swimming
Association - The 'CSA' is the Governing Body of Channel Swimming.
The Official Channel Swimming Association Record Books list and detail
all properly authenticated Swim attempts since 1875 to the present
day. Aligned with CCA-Rival of CSPF
The
Channel Crossing Association - The 'CCA' specializes in "unconventional"
Channel crossings such as an 'Assisted Swim', or a Crossing which
utilises a Craft or a propulsion aid of any kind. Aligned with CSA.
Channel Swimming and Piloting
Federation - The CSPF is a rival splinter group of CSA. Conducts
both solo swims and "unconventional" swims. Let me stress

authority. "Surf Swimming" is just a part of what Australia's
282 SLS clubs do on a daily basis.

Association - USLA is America's nonprofit, professional association
of beach lifeguards and open water rescuers.
